The last two BTO launches this year will be merged into one mega launch in November as September’s launch was delayed to include new property policies.
A total of 12,000 HDB flats will be made available in November due to the delay in September’s launch of Build-to-Order (BTO) flats.
The delay was to incorporate the new policies announced during National Day Rally – the 2-room Flexi Scheme, raise in income ceiling, and enhancements to Special CPF Housing Grant (SHG) – and benefit as many Singaporeans as possible.
The mega launch of 12,000 flats is thus a merge of September’s and November’s launch, resulting in a bumper crop of 7,000 BTO flats and 5,000 Sale of Balance flats, which are flats not sold in previous BTO exercises.
The flats will be made available in six HDB estates – Bidadari, Bukit Batok, Choa Chu Kang, Hougang, Punggol Northshore and Sengkang. Out of these 7,000 BTO flats put on sale, 2,100 of them will be in the highly anticipated Bidadari and another 2,700 in Punggol Northshore.
