Located on Amber Road in District 15, Amber Park is a 592-unit freehold condominium with a striking architectural feature. Connecting its three 21-storey residential towers is The Stratosphere, a rooftop recreation deck that features a 600-metre jogging track – a first for a condominium in Singapore.
The condominium, developed by CDL and designed by SCDA Architects, spans a land area of approximately 19,851 square metres and is scheduled for completion in 2023.
Facilities
The rooftop deck creates another world of facilities on level 22, in addition to the ample array of recreational options for residents at ground level. Avid joggers will particularly relish the 600-metre jogging track on The Stratosphere, that allows them to take in panoramic sea views as they sweat it out.
A gym on The Stratosphere faces the sea, as does the yoga deck, while those who opt to relax can do so in the steam room, spa pool or lounge.
On ground level, residents can unwind amidst modern tropical landscaping and facilities such as the 50m lagoon pool, hydrotherapy pool, kids’ pool and leisure pool. The development also features a forest trail, a barbecue pavilion and private dining facilities at Club Amber.
Children, in the meantime, will relish the development’s generously-sized playground. The outdoor fitness court area is also sizeable.
Amber Park residents can also enjoy Premier Residential Services. Its exclusive privileges include residential hosts arranging for laundry and housekeeping, transport bookings, catering for parties and restaurant reservations, and more. Selected services are chargeable and terms and conditions apply.
Surrounding Amenities
One of Amber Park’s clearest advantages is its positioning in District 15. It is a short stroll to East Coast Park, Katong and Parkway Parade Shopping Centre.
At East Coast Park, residents can partake in watersports such as wakeboarding and stand-up paddling, as well as more relaxing activities like fishing at Bedok Jetty. Attraction nodes such as Parkland Green, Marine Cove (a kids’ paradise with one of the largest playgrounds in Singapore) and East Coast Lagoon and Seafood Centre are ideal spots to dine and chill by the sea.
With its rich Peranakan heritage and diverse culinary options, Katong needs little introduction among Singaporeans. Residents at Amber Park can count Katong as their backyard, and get acquainted with the many eclectic shops, eateries, restaurants and drinking places that are housed in the area’s iconic shophouses.
Parkway Parade will also satisfy residents’ daily needs with a variety of shops, including Cold Storage supermarket as well as Isetan and Marks and Spencer department stores. There is also a Cathay Cineplex within the mall. There are a total of over 250 shops at Parkway Parade, offering a variety of popular eateries and restaurants. There is also a large hawker centre next to the mall.
Amber Park is also a 10-minute drive to Singapore Sports Hub and Paya Lebar Central regional business district. The development is sited right next to the Chinese Swimming Club.
Accessibility-wise, Amber Park provides easy access to the CBD and Changi Airport, currently by bus and car. There are more than 10 bus services available, with a few taking residents in the area to the city and Orchard Road in under 20 minutes. Across the island, Amber Park is well connected via several expressways such as the East Coast Parkway (ECP), Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE) and Pan-Island Expressway (PIE).
At around the time of Amber Park’s completion, the new Marine Parade MRT station on the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) will begin its operations. Amber Park is a three-minute walk to the upcoming Tanjong Katong MRT, giving residents highly convenient rail access to the city in 15-minutes and Orchard Road in 20-minutes.
When completed, the TEL will also give residents rail access to Changi Airport via Expo MRT station.
Schools-wise, Tanjong Katong Primary School is within one-kilometre of Amber Park. Other schools nearby include the Canadian International School (Tanjong Katong Campus), Chung Cheng High School (Main), Tanjong Katong Girls’ School and Tanjong Katong Secondary School.
As added convenience for the residents, there is also dual access to Amber Park – from Amber Gardens as well as Amber Road.
