The need-to-know basics of vesting in real estate<\/b><br>How property ownership is vested &#8211; meaning who actually owns the title to real estate &#8211; is an important consideration for homebuyers. Understanding the basics of vesting can help ensure your property rights are properly protected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-is-vesting\">What is vesting?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Vesting refers to how ownership of real estate is held. When you purchase a home, the deed and title to the property must be vested, or granted, to the owner or owners.
