They often feature ample seating arrangements, wide pathways, and well-planned landscaping, creating an inviting environment for residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are the HDB void decks used for?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These decks have diverse uses, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A gathering place for cultural and social events, such as weddings and funeral wakes, bringing together families, friends, and neighbours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Polling stations during elections, providing a convenient and accessible location for residents to vote.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community functions, including neighbourhood meetings, educational programs, and public gatherings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Housing small vending machines selling various goods, commonly situated near the lift lobby.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to book an HDB Void Deck?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re interested in reserving an HDB void deck for your upcoming event, here&#8217;s what you need to know:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visit the Town Council&#8217;s office: To book the void deck, you&#8217;ll need to personally visit your Town Council&#8217;s office. This is where the reservation process begins.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eligibility: As a resident of the area, you can book the void deck for your function. Keep in mind that non-residents may not be able to make bookings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fee assessment: Fees for using the void deck will be determined based on the duration of your event, as well as the consumption of water and electricity.
