The students dorms are in line with the developer&#8217;s attempt to generate consistent, recurring income.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Two student dorms are 133-bed Harbour Court and 166-bed St Lawrence House in Bristol. <\/span><span class=\"s1\">The Glassworks in Liverpool is another, which <\/span><span class=\"s1\">has 323 beds. <\/span>In total, Far East Orchard has 2,091 beds across its eight properties following the additional 622 from this latest deal.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24200\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24200\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-24200 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.99.co\/singapore\/insider\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/uk-student-dorm.jpg\" alt=\"Far east orchard buys student dorms in u.k.\" width=\"650\" height=\"401\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24200\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Far East Orchard is confident that the demand for student dorms in the U.K. will remain strong despite Brexit.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">The student dorms <\/span>will be managed by its previous operator for its other student housing properties in Newcastle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Despite Brexit, Far East Orchard is confident that the demand for student dorms in the U.K. will remain strong. The city&#8217;s two universities fed an estimated 10,000 students into the local population over the past decade.
