He too, is an expat. As a foreigner, it was a really difficult process the first time I tried to look for a place in Singapore. I knew nothing about the country or the procedures of renting a place here, so everything was a bit of a culture shock. It was a lot better when I tried home searching in Singapore for a second time recently. I now have friends who can help and advise me. When I tried using 99.co, all the people that I contacted through the app &#8211; agents and landlords alike &#8211; always got back to me, which was extremely helpful. 99.co is now the main platform that I use for house searching, and I used it almost everyday when I was looking for a condo. I would most definitely recommend it to my friends. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>What do you look for in a place to live?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I\u2019m an introvert, so I need a place all for myself that is quiet and private. Public transport is not so much a worry for me since the public transport system in Singapore is really good and most residences are already within walking distance of a MRT station. Right now, I feel blessed to have found my current place.
