Aroland<\/span> Holdings Ltd<\/span>.<\/span> has its sights set on building the tower in London\u2019s financial district.<\/span><\/p>\n

Singapore-based developer <\/span>Aroland<\/span> Holdings Ltd. plans to build the tallest tower in the London\u2019s financial district, near the skyscrapers known as The <\/span>Cheesegrater<\/span> and The Gherkin, <\/span>Bloomberg reported<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

The 73-storey building will have a public viewing gallery and restaurant at the top, and enough workspace for 10,000 people. <\/span><\/p>\n

Aroland<\/span> said its plans have gone on display and that approval for construction will be sought next year. <\/span><\/p>\n

London\u2019s landlords are starting to sell up in the district, with properties valued at 6.1 billion pounds<\/span> ($12.9 billion) on the market, a <\/span>sixfold<\/span> increase from May. <\/span><\/p>\n

In 2018, central London developers are expected to deliver the highest amount of office space in 26 years, according to Deloitte LLP. <\/span><\/p>\n
