Completed in 2017, it\u2019s now home to residents of Blk 167 to 172 Boon Lay Drive, which had their units acquired through SERS in December 2011.<\/p>\n<p>JTC had <a href=\"https:\/\/remembersingapore.org\/2017\/09\/17\/boon-lay-estate-en-bloc-jtc-flats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">built<\/a> the Boon Lay Drive flats to house industrial workers, as Jurong started developing into an industrial hub in the late 60s and 70s.<\/p>\n<p>The blocks have since been demolished, with the site being marked as a residential site on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.99.co\/singapore\/insider\/ura-master-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">URA master plan<\/a>. (It won\u2019t be surprising if it will be a BTO site in future.)<\/p>\n<h2>SERS replacement project is next to Boon Lay MRT and Jurong Point<\/h2>\n<p>Meanwhile, one main factor contributing to the record price is its location. For starters, Jurong West Blossom is located right next to Jurong Point, which is integrated with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.99.co\/singapore\/sale\/hdb\/boon-lay-mrt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Boon Lay MRT<\/a> and Boon Lay Bus Interchange.<\/p>\n<p>Blk 697B is also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.99.co\/singapore\/insider\/p1-registration-living-within-1km-of-a-primary-school\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">within 1km of four primary schools<\/a>, while River Valley High is around a 13-minute walk away.<\/p>\n<p>Having been completed in 2017, the units in Jurong West Blossom are among the youngest HDB projects available on the resale market in the area. (The record-breaking unit has a remaining lease of 93 years 3 months.)<\/p>\n<p>Other newer HDB projects that have completed their MOP in the last couple of years and are available for sale
