In a soft property market, overvaluing your home is a death sentence to the possibility of a sale. If matching the price of neighbouring homes means making a loss compared to what you paid, it\u2019s a hit you\u2019ll have to take. So it might be best to consider holding off on the sale until the market improves.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

But in a hot market like what we\u2019re experiencing now, people are more willing to pay top dollar for a home. So it may be a good time to sell your home.<\/p>\r\n
