Named after the iconic UNESCO landmark, Botanic Gardens is home to several established educational institutions such as Singapore Chinese girls’ school, National University of Singapore’s Law Faculty and School of Public Policy. Many attractions can be found within the gardens, which stretch from Bukit Timah road to Holland Road, including a waterfall, Swan Lake and the National Orchid Garden. In the future, expansion plans will involve a new Tyersall Learning Forest, which encompasses boardwalks, elevated walkways and viewing decks. Nearby, students can always be found at Serene Centre, Coronation Shopping Plaza and Adam Road Food Centre. Gleneagles Hospital caters to the medical needs of residents while more entertainment services can be found at Raffles Town Club. Mostly a private residential estate, Duchess Manor, The Shelford and Dukes Residences are among the condominiums and landed property around the area. Upcoming apartments include White House Residences and Hallmark Residences.
