As the largest convention and exhibition venue spreading over 10 halls, Singapore EXPO (CG1/DT35) hosts more than 800 events annually. Just to name a few, the PC Show, InterMet Asia and International Fair are all part of the line-up. Concerts and performances are often held in the Max Pavilion, which boasts top-notch sound and video system. With the train station named after the building, residents are granted easy access to this center from all parts of Singapore.
Right next to the EXPO lies Changi Business Park, a strategic hub of high technology firms and facilities. A plethora of dining and retail stores are available at Changi City Point shopping mall, known for its factory outlets. Along with the relocation of Singapore’s fourth public university, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), to the vicinity, residents can embrace more educational and employment opportunities as the business park continues developing. The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) College East also offers alternative education options within the area.
