Lots of offerings. Can't get enough of local Singapore hawker food. Had "Kali peang" basically pork cutlet in curry gravy, Chinese style. Added a serving of bean curd skin. Regretfully this was served on a styrofoam plate. Can do better.

This hawker is pretty nice with variety of food choice, one of my favourite is the steam and curry fish head! Food always 5 marks but environment should try to improvement, it is hot during lunch hours!

This hawker center is quite large and has a wide variety of stalls where you can try all kinds of Asian food, juices and desserts. It has award-winning stalls with a cleanliness seal, but depending on the time of day it can be difficult to find a table available to have your meal. At lunchtime it is very hot, almost unbearable to have a meal there, but it is definitely a place worth visiting to enjoy an authentic meal

The food centre in Chinatown complex has lots of options. Delicious food, good portions. Had 3 boxes of pork Xiao Long Bao from stall 02-119. Was very good. $5 for 6 dumplings. They also have a meatless version with egg and chive. Sugarcane juice from the stall opposite was well iced for just the optimal sweetness. Ask for lemon with the juice which goes well. $2.50 for a big glass. We also tried a crispy Chinese burger which has an option of chicken /pork /beef meat which is boiling in a gravy and is taken out and sliced and stuffed into crisp prata-like bread topped with lettuce, onions. It's a big burger was delicious and totally worth the $4.80 price. Popiah was fresh and flavourful with a sweet and spicy sauce. Filling for the price of $2.20. As it is made only upon ordering so one can ask her to not put in the minced hardboiled egg if you want a vegetarian version. Also ordered the fried yam roll $1.80, which was fragrant with the smell of fried shallots. The stall was selected for the 2024 Michelin Plate award The other typical hawker fare ordered Thai basil chicken rice $6 and hainanese chicken rice $4 were good too. Dessert was 3 Peanut balls in almond soup. Fresh and thin skinned balls but almond soup was too sweet for my taste with a too strong almond flavour. $2.50. Overall for all of this was $43.80. It was too much food for three persons as each one ordered food for sharing and we ended up packing back the barely touched Thai basil chicken with rice.

Nice dry and wet market. Food centers are in the middle. Each food stall offers unique food. So many choices. People are so friendly.

One of my favorite Hawker Centres in Singapore. Have been coming here for years when we are in town and have several favorite stalls. The best thing about coming on Monday is there a lot of seats! The worst part how about coming here on Monday is most of the famous stalls are closed with the exception of steamed fish head An Ji!
