My go-to mini mall for groceries and food at mostly the Kopitiam branch. Conveniently located near where I used to stay (Regentville condo).
Doesn't have all the amenities there but sufficient enough for 90% of my needs. If I want a bigger mall I can go to Nex mall or others

Quite little services here but has a very big Fairprice (and Unity) that occupies the entire second floor. Has every basic service or shop that you may need (clinic, optician, bread shop, supermarket, cake shop, korean mart, convenience store, eateries and fast food restaurants). Not very crowded but wish there could be more shops or they can add more levels to make this neighbourhood mall a bit more lively. The mall does come alive after school hours with families and young students going about their day. Not a confusing mall to get around as well, very simple layout.

Place is convenient and mall is self sufficient. Minus 1 coz the food court totally no air conditioning. I would rather not eat there even though there are fans. How to enjoy hot soup in such weather.
2024 Update: Air-con is back

Hougang 1 is a small little mall but it has everything you need in it!
Optical shop, hairdresser, nails, bakery, arcade, watsons, traditional chinese medication and tea, food court, fast food, saizeriya, starbucks, chinese noodles, japanese curry, sushi all in level one. Even drinks shops like Liho and the coconut juice.
A huge supermarket NTUC and Unity pharmacy on level two.
It also has UOB, OCBC, DBS atm machine and a SAM machine.
One of the best mall in the neighborhood!

Hougang 1 is a small shopping centre with only a few shops. It only has B1, level 1 and 2. Fair Price Xtra, Kopitiam, Watson, Twelve Cupscakes are just a few popular brands.
Unfortunately there's no full banking facility here but there are few ATMs.
Hougang 1 is wheelchair friendly with travelator from B1 car park and elevators to every floor.

Has a grocery with a wide selection of items for sale. However, there are only a limited foreign fastfood chains here. Regardless, you may choose to eat in their fastfood which has a great selection of Singaporean dishes.
