Former Caldecott Broadcast Centre is located at Andrew Road, located in the Caldecott Hill Good Class Bungalow (GCB) area. The historic move of Mediacorp from the Caldecott Broadcast Centre to Mediapolis at one-North has paved the way for an estimated 15 GCBs. Unlike the freehold GCB area in Caldecott Hill, the projects will be 99-year leasehold developments.

Future plans at Former Caldecott Broadcast Centre

Perennial Holdings Private Limited has suggested that the 15 bungalows will have vehicle access directly from existing estate roads. These include Andrew Road, John Road and Olive Road. Perennial Holdings will also be working closely with the Land Transport Authority to upgrade existing roads by adding public walkways and roadside planting strips For smoother traffic flow, existing vehicle carriageways will also be widened. 

For nature lovers, they can expect a new estate park that will serve as a pedestrian link to improve connectivity between the northern and southern parts of the estate. 

Schools near Former Caldecott Broadcast Centre 

Former Caldecott Broadcast Centre is good for families who want higher chances of enrolling their children in primary schools such as Pei Chun Public School, Marymount Convent School, CHIJ Primary Toa Payoh, Kheng Cheng School.

A short drive will allow residents to gain access to renowned schools like ACS (Barker Road), St. Joseph's Institution Junior and schools in the Bukit Timah area like Singapore Chinese Girls' School and Hwa Chong Institution.
