As we enter the third week of the Covid 19 outbreak, there has been increasing legislative measures to reinforce social distancing to stop the community spread of the virus. With more homeowners beginning to work from home, this would be the optimal opportunity for agents to reach homeowners directly.
During this challenging period, it is essential for real estate agents to be more selective in choosing where to source for their leads. After all, you want to make sure your spends are efficient in order to maximise your returns during this period.
On any typical day, hearing the sound of a door slamming may trigger an eye twitch or PTSD. That’s normal, considering door knocking is an integral part of sourcing for leads and can be seen as highly intimidating and demoralising. However, in our current Circuit Breaker, you will never be able to get that painful luxury of rejection- no matter how much you long for it again. Your problems these days isn’t so much as rejection- but rather how to search for leads in the first place.
Good news from us is, with Prospector, both problems can be solved. It’s a tool that can transcend your skills as a real estate agent and can help you no matter what situation you are in.
Scared of rejection? Let Prospector help you filter out a list of high quality leads. With the right winning pitch, you will find your frequency of rejections far and few.
Stuck at home? Well, great news! You won’t even need to get out of your bed to start filtering your leads. In fact, everything can be easily accessed from your mobile, so no need to clock steps to your desktop!
What is Prospector Tool
Prospector is a tool that allows agents to filter out high-intent neighborhoods to prospect their clients. At one glance, agents will be able to immediately calculate gains for filtered properties that will make it easier for them to prospect for new leads in these selected neighborhoods. To make it even better, you can also export mailing labels and reach out to high converting leads for free.
How does it work?
This feature can be found on our 99.co app. Simply click on ‘Prospector’ and behold, the world of opportunities awaits!

Screen out MOP and SSD home fulfilled owners effortlessly and no longer knock on the doors of unit owners who purchased their property recently. Blow their minds by starting your pitch with data and financial knowledge and make them curious to find out more.
Start sourcing leads from high converting areas
Filter where you would like to prospect – find out more about the hotspots in Singapore by simply filtering out Singapore, followed by property type, percentage and amount to gain. All current pricing shown is an estimate based on the average price of the last 10 transactions.
For instance, if you were interested in finding Condominiums in Singapore, with a completed MOP status with 20% gain of up to $1,000,000, set the filter to as follows:

And bam! There you go, you have more than 86,000 prospects that match your criteria.
Depending on your prioritisation, sort your results according to either ‘Newest Prospects” (recently ended MOP) or “Gains” (stand the most to gain) to help you decide where you want to prospect your leads.

Access high converting contact information
In one glance, you can access the property’s MOP, YOC, market price, how much they bought the property for and their estimated gain. Assuming you want the contacts of all homeowners in a prospective property, that is not a problem.
Click on the property you would like to prospect and you will be able to see a Tower view of all units in that chosen block. Set your filter to your own preferences, click on “List” view and export mailing labels from that specific block, and have them sent to your email for free!

In your email, you will receive CSV and PDF documents with these addresses arranged for you to print as mailing labels to mail out to potential leads (to be printed in letter size on Avery 5160 or Avery 8160).
Offer valuable information to these homeowners
Go beyond the skills of Google or something that appeared in the news lately. Impress homeowners with your newly equipped knowledge about their properties.

Forgo the hard sell approach of who you are and if they want to sell their homes, but instead start with, “Hey! Did you know that you stand to make $1,000,000, which is 64% higher than what you bought it for, if you sell your home now?”. There’s no harm throwing in a compliment or two. If you have value to offer, they will be left wanting to find out more.

At the end of the day, before you hit the streets, always remember to do your proper research. Let’s be honest- nobody likes being spammed. But if you have clear value to bring to help homeowners make better property decisions, then no harm in putting yourself out there.
We have to adapt to this crisis and conjure new ways of selecting and approaching selective pools of leads with valuable information. To find out additional ways to succeed, check out our 99.co Survival Guide designed to help our fellow agents during this period.
