It seems like everyone nowadays is hopping on the hipster bandwagon and the same definitely goes for homeowners with many of them seeking out interior design firms to help them to create homes which are bursting with personality.

The hipster trend is a way of life and what better way to channel your cool factor then by creating a home that you can marvel at. Here, we share with you 8 homes that have all the right hipster elements, setting the bar for an eye-catching interior.

1. Although unfinished brick walls are an ubiquitous interior design element, these homeowners artfully merged the brick wall with an undone wooden wall to create this quirky masterpiece. To channel an industrial feel, the coffee table resembles a wheelbarrow while a clock and lighting are integrated into the exposed piping on the wall. Hanging pendant lamps also inject a cool, laid back vibe to this living space.

2. We can’t rave enough about this trendy home. The floor-to-ceiling blackboard that is artfully drawn on with chalk creates a café-like ambience to the dining area. We also love the effortlessly chic incorporation of magazines into the design of the bar counter. Even the bathroom is Instagram-worthy with its patterned monochrome floor tiles and free-standing bathtub. The cherry on top is the subtle use of bricks throughout the home.

The geometrically-quirky study chair is another unique element and the quirky vibe of the entire home certainly makes this home a trendy one to live in.
