Ghim Moh Market
Buona Vista MRT station (EW21/CC22) is an interchange station on the East-West and Circle lines. It is the second MRT station other than Paya Lebar MRT station to service both above-ground and under-ground lines. Buona Vista station serves offices and the Ministry of Education headquarters along North Buona Vista road. The Star Vista and Rochester malls are situated a short walk away from the station and has a wide variety of food options for office staff working in the area. Holland Drive Market and Food Centre is located on the opposite side of the station and for those clamouring for local delicacies, the popular Ghim Moh Market and Food Centre is a ten minutes walk away and has several reputable stalls serving up crowd favourites.
Fairfield Methodist School, Queensway Secondary School and New Town Secondary School are some of the secondary schools located nearby Buona Vista MRT. As for primary schools, Henry Park Primary School, New Town Primary School and Nanyang Primary Schools are a few great examples.
The main shopping mall near Buona Vista MRT would be the Star Vista. It offers lots of different retail and dining varieties, consisting of a mixture of indoor and outdoor shopping concept as well.
