    About the Architect of Parksuites

    DP Architects

    Designed as a village with both residential and retail components, Parksuites is a series of buildings structured as discrete blocks of different scales with paths of circulation interwoven throughout, creating pockets of communal open-to-sky plazas with a variety of landscape and views. The landscaped Level 2 deck creates the illusion of new elevated ground, tectonically extruded from the adjacent Henry Park. It is further complemented by the facade design with its tactile surface and articulated barn roof form. Together, the various elements of the architecture create a village-like atmosphere, as Parksuites’ architect, DP Architects (DPA) envisioned.

    DPA is a Singapore-based multi-disciplinary design consultancy, focusing on enriching the human experience and create works of architectural excellence. Founded in 1967 on this concern, DPA is today one of the largest architectural practices in the world and continues to play a role in shaping cityscapes in Singapore, Asia, the Middle East and beyond. DPA has designed many of the country’s most important public projects and notable landmarks, each of which have played critical roles in shaping Singapore’s civic urban landscape and downtown core. DP has also been involved with urban projects of immense scale and increasing diversity of function. The Esplanade is one of DPA’s most recognised works, along with Carlton City Hotel, Clarke Quay Central, Hotel Fort Canning, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (Novena) and the National Library Building. Its portfolio of residential projects includes The Minton, Paterson Collection, Centennia Suites, Paya Lebar Quarter and several more. Regardless the purpose, residential or commercial, DPA’s projects serve as regional focal points, hubs of human activity and social space, as will Parksuites. These projects have earned DPA several awards over the years, including the China Real Estate Design Awards 2018-2019, the BCI Asia Top Ten Architects Award, Asia Property Awards (Singapore), Best of Asia Pacific Design Awards among others.
