City Development is redeveloping its Central Mall properties and the surrounding area into an ambitious large-scale mixed-use development. This follows its acquisition of the former Central Square beside Central Mall for SGD$315 million.

Union Square Residences (former Central Square) is the residential component of the new iconic mixed-use development under the URA Strategic Development Incentive (SDI) Scheme – CDL is redeveloping all three sites under this scheme.
