The Urban Development Authority (URA) released the Woodlands Ave 2 GLS White Site in the second half of 2023 reserve list for GLS sites. Spanning 27,506 sqm, the white site will be a mixed-use development consisting of offices, retail spaces and residential units. The development has a maximum gross floor area (GFA) of 115,747 sqm and it will contain 78,000 sqm of commercial space. It is estimated to yield 440 residential units.
Connectivity and Accessibility
The site enjoys excellent public transport connectivity as it is above Woodlands MRT on the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL). Being connected to both the TEL and the NSL MRT lines, commuters will have direct access to the Central Business District, Orchard and Marina Bay. Additionally, Woodlands Regional Bus Interchange serves commuters heading in and out of town, providing convenient transfers between the MRT and the numerous bus services at the interchange.
Those who drive can take the Seletar Expressway (SLE), Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) and the upcoming North-South Corridor which will run seamlessly from Woodlands to the city centre. At an incredible length of 21.5km, the integrated transport corridor will feature dedicated bus lanes, cycling trunk routes and pedestrian paths.
