With the November BTO 2022 launched, the Kallang neighbourhood is set to get many makeovers.  Shopping Centres Near Towner Heights Residents of Towner Heights can head down to nearby malls like Bendemeer Shopping Mall, Balestier Plaza, and City Square Mall to do their shopping and many more. Mustafa Centre in Little India, famous for its high-quality textile, is also close to the HDB complex.  Mustafa Shopping Centre is open 24 hours a day, so you can shop through the night, finding everything from grocery items, pharmacy, and diamond necklaces, to Bollywood DVDs. Hawker Centres Near Towner Heights Kallang is a haven for foodies. Within a 2-kilometre radius of Towner Heights, there are at least 9 food centres which will spoil you with a plethora of tasty hawker favourites. One of the popular food centres near Towner Heights is Whampoa Makan Place.  Whampoa Makan Place is known for its two separate buildings, which house the morning and night markets. Block 91, which is half a wet market, is filled mostly with stalls that close after lunch. Block 90, on the other side, is the right place to go for dinner!  Do not miss popular stalls at Whampoa Makan Place, such as Huat Heng Fried Oyster, Balestier Road Hoover Rojak, Liang Zhao Ji Duck Rice, Hi Leskmi Nasi Lemak, and Rabiah Muslim Food.  Schools Near Towner Heights Numerous educational institutions can be found around Towner Heights – some even within close walking distance. Hong Wen Schooll (150m), Northlight School (500m), and Bendemeer Primary and Secondary School (800m) are the closest ones. At the same time, the closest mosque to the development is Masjid Hajjah Rahimabi Kebun Limau (1.2km). Hospitals Near Towner Heights For any medical care, you can go to the nearby Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital for medical care. The 700-bed hospital is located 500 metres away from Towner Heights. Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital provides inpatient services, a rehabilitation centre, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Centre, community care centres, and home care services.  However, if you prefer smaller medical facilities to treat your condition, there are several clinics nearby, such as Tan Teoh Clinic & Surgery (400m) and 18 Clinic (500m).
