432 Park Avenue, New York City! Actually, I’m not even sure if I would enjoy living there – I imagine it might be a bit overwhelming to live in such a prominent estate. But I think it would be an interesting experience to reside in one of the tallest residential buildings in the world.
How did you hear about 99.co?
I work in the investment space, and first heard about it from a few other investors. It’s a shame that it’s not yet well known in the market. I reckon that most Singaporeans have just gotten used to the same old, terrible ways to look for property, and it probably won’t be easy getting them to change to something better.
I really do think that 99.co helps users search for property in a much more efficient manner by cutting out the noise and junk. Personally, I wouldn’t care how many property listings there might be in an inventory if it doesn’t cater to my specific needs.
What did you like about 99.co?
After I gave 99.co a try, I got a friendly call from the support team asking me how my search was going and if I needed any help. My immediate reaction was, “Whoa! There’re real people behind this app!”
It was unexpected, because most search portals with huge databases just seem like this faceless, mechanical monster. I thought it was really nice to provide a bit of human touch to an otherwise purely digital user experience.
I don’t think most people will value that. Perhaps only 10% would. But for the people who do care about personalised service, the effort would be worth it. At least, I certainly appreciate it.
