Singapore: Huttons Group recently announced the appointment of Steve Siu as its new Director of Information Technology (IT). Not too long ago, Huttons also announced the appointment of Yeo Chin Hao as its new Legal Counsel and Shaun Tan as Head of Training & Special Projects.

Mr Siu will oversee all technological aspects of the company as well as spearhead Huttons’ IT Blueprint, a project aimed at helping salespersons to work more effectively and close more deals in 2021. He will also contribute to building Huttons’ in-house knowledge management system and training content. Mr Siu brings with him a wealth of experience; 20 years in the field of IT specializing in solutions and project management.

Prior to joining Huttons, he successfully implemented a number of large-scale systems including enterprise resource planning systems, customer relationship management systems, learning management systems, data analytics platforms, facility management systems, as well as some in-house developed applications at Singapore Institute of Technology.

Mr Mark Yip, Chief Executive Officer of Huttons Asia said, “I am thrilled to have Steve join our corporate management team. He will be instrumental to our growth. As an incredibly accomplished professional, I am confident that Steve will further strengthen our capabilities and drive greater value for our associates and clients.”

“I am very excited to join Huttons, one of the largest real estate agencies in Singapore. We will prioritise and invest in technology, and help our associates adopt digital platforms that improve their productivity, levels of professionalism and service. Consumers today are more informed than ever and we need to empower our associates with the necessary data at their fingertips.” said Mr Siu.

In the coming months, Huttons will be enhancing their current property calculators and upgrading their website with an agent rating platform according to CEA guidelines. Furthermore, Huttons has introduced a new training brand identity called Huttons UP; which will cover all skillsets to “UP” the associates’ professionalism and allow them to service their clients’ entire property journey proficiently.

“This new training framework will enable our associates to enhance productivity and increase sales performance. It will further support new real estate salespersons who joined Huttons under the Millionaire Associate Program to excel in their careers. Our Millennial committee has also committed their time to conduct trainings and contributed ideas for recruitment and new projects. We will continue to adapt fast to market changes, digitise to facilitate property transactions and utilise social media channels to grow our brand presence.” Mr Yip further commented.
