Looking to get a BTO flat? Get ready in anticipation of HDB’s next BTO launch in May 2017, with a total of 4,600 units being released at Woodlands, Yishun, Bidadari, and Geylang. If you’re not sure where you’d like to live, check out our guide below for a breakdown of each location!

Woodlands

The BTO flats to be released in Woodlands are located between Marsiling Road and Woodlands Street 13. Residents will be relatively near the train station, which is approximately 15 minutes away by foot; both Marsiling Primary School and Secondary School are also nearby.

Nearest MRT: Woodlands

Units available: 1250 (2R Flexi, 3R, 4R, 5R, 3 Gen)

Yishun

The location for the Yishun project is in between Yishun Street 42 and Street 43 (both of which are currently under construction). As this project is near Lower Seletar Reservoir and Yishun Dam, it can be considered to be located at the outskirts of Yishun, and is quite a distance from both Northpoint Mall and Yishun MRT station.

Nearest MRT: Yishun

Units available: 750 (2R Flexi, 3R, 4R, 5R)

Bidadari

The Bidadari project is located between Bartley Road and Bidadari Park Drive (the latter of which is currently under construction). As these units will be sandwiched between Woodleigh and Bartley MRT Stations, the location is ideal for homeowners who rely heavily on public transport. Maris Stella High School is also located nearby.

Units available: 1340 (2R Flexi, 3R, 4R, 5R, 3 Gen)

Geylang

There are two upcoming Geylang projects, the first of which is located between Pine Lane and Cassia Link. This is near a proposed neighbourhood police centre, Mountbatten Community Centre, as well as the Old Airport Road food centre.

Nearest MRT: Dakota

Units available: 310 (2R Flexi, 3R)

The second Geylang project, located between Jalan Satu and Jalan Dua, is a stone’s throw away from Dakota MRT. Other than the Mountbatten Community Centre, nearby amenities include Kong Hwa Primary School. The project also borders the Geylang Park Connector.

Units available: 950 (2R Flexi, 3R, 4R)
