Amazing food is never far from reach in Singapore, especially when there is a fab food festival going on. In the coming months there are a ton of great gastronomic galas taking place around town, so we’ve put together a list of the most appetite whetting events that are sure to tempt your tastebuds.

Since 1994 this annual foodie celebration has been showcasing local flavours and Singapore’s unique culinary heritage. The event takes place over an entire month and it features vibrant food stations, live demos, and workshops where you can learn how to make all your favourite local dishes. This year the festival pays homage to Singapore’s Golden Jubilee with the theme ‘A Fresh Taste of Tradition’. Special events include STREAT with hawker food curated by Justin Quek, STORIES, a pop-up dinner theatre with a 5-course meal, and the Living Culinary Treasures workshop with Violet Oon.

Whisky Live

The world’s premier whisky tasting show is touching down in Singapore this fall for one night only. Whether you’re a long time whisky lover or still learning your drams, this is a great opportunity to sample some of the world’s most famous whiskies as well as rare and sought-after single malts and blends. You can expect industry bigwigs like producers and distillers to be there to chat about their craft, and there will be master classes on offer plus great food and drink.

Suvai 2015

Now in it’s second year, Suvai is a celebration of regional Indian cuisine with an array of dishes by local and international chefs that showcase the spices and flavours of the subcontinent in new and innovative ways. Must-try dishes include the Potato and Paneer Croquettes, Masala Tom Yum Fried Rice, and the Masala Tea Slushie with coconut cream. You can also enjoy free master classes, live music in the beer garden, and the chance to witness a Guiness World Record attempt to make the world’s biggest curry at an estimated 15 tonnes.

Epicurean Market

Sample international dishes by world-renowned chefs accompanied by fine wines at the third edition of the Epicurean Market. Besides food booths and wine tastings, the festival will feature over 30 master classes where you can learn some of the tricks of the trade from culinary legends like Chef David Myers of Adrift, Tetsuya Wakuda of Waku Ghin, and Nancy Silverton of Osteria and Pizzeria Mozza. As an added bonus, there will also be a lively after party with gourmet bites, signature cocktails and beats by live DJs.

World Food Fair

Singapore Wine Fiesta

Brought to us by the Straits Wine Company and DBS, the Singapore Wine Fiesta is an oenophile’s dream with over 70 winemakers from around the globe, master classes with experts, and over 300 wines on offer for tasting and sale. The highlight of the festival will be the Winemakers’ Table Dinner with a divine menu by The Fullerton Bay Hotel and 60 different wines to pair with the dishes including the much lauded Vietti Barolo Lazzarito 2010, Marques de Murrieta Castillo Y’gay Gran Riserva Especial 2005, and the Yarra Yering Dry Red Wine No.2 2007.
