Developer aims to launch Singapore’s first hi-tech Executive Condominium (EC) in 2019.

Working together with Samsung, developer Qingjian unveiled The Visionaire, Singapore’s first smart EC located at Canberra Link in Sembawang.

The overall concept of The Visionaire is the seamless integration of technology to improve all aspects of one’s lifestyle.

Featuring smart home technologies such as the digital lock and an extensive camera system, residents are rest assured by the top-notch home security network. Home owners will also be able to control built-in kitchen appliances simply at the touch of their smart device.

“We hope that taking this first step will encourage other industry leaders to develop more homes of the future,” general manager of Qingjian said, according to The Straits Times.

Meanwhile, accommodations at The Visionaire will also cater to prospective home owners who are uncomfortable living in a hi-tech environment.

The 632-units at The Visionaire ranges from a two-bedroom unit to a four-bedroom unit and its proposed price starts from $750 to $800 per square foot (psf).

First bookings for the units start on April 23.
