The revamped Funan Mall is open. The once iconic IT Mall (now a lifestyle mall) is set to retake its throne as an iconic retail centre. Here are some things to take note of when you visit Funan Mall:
- Tree of Life
- Urban Farm
- Rooftop Futsal
- Cycling Track
- Kopi Tech
- Love, Bonito
1. Tree of Life
One of the iconic features of Funan Mall. Tree of Life is a six-storey steel structure that stands prominently in the centre of the mall, at 25-metres tall. It houses retail pods and allows stores to host workshops. Furthermore, it connects the different parts of the mall such as the office buildings and retail shops in a simplified way.

2. Urban Farm
Located at the rooftop, the urban farm houses more than 50 types of fruits and vegetables. These fruits and vegetables are actually edible and not just for show. Chefs from various restaurants in Funan Mall will work together with the farmers from Edible Garden City and integrate such harvested crops into dishes. Moreover, the greenery of the rooftop urban farm is relatively picturesque. Take a seat and enjoy the skyline of the CBD while you are there.

3. Rooftop Futsal
The Ark Futsal is located right beside the Urban Farm. You will be able to enjoy the skyline of nearby CBD area while playing soccer, getting best of both worlds. Moreover, this futsal court is unique because it is operated based on just technology. There are no manual workers to operate the court. Just follow the instructions given on the vending machine and you will be able to have some fun with your friends.

4. Cycling Track
Funan Mall has an indoor cycling track, with a length of 200-metre. Not only does it promote healthy living among all the workers, it is also built with an aim to encourage working professionals to cycle in and around the mall during the morning peak hours. However, there is a speed limit of 10km/h. Furthermore, there is also a Bicycle Hub that consist of 166 bicycle bays, shower cubicles, lockers and bicycle repair and pump station. This allows office, retail and F&B workers to freshen themselves before going to work.

5. Kopi Tech
Sounds familiar? Yes, it is similar to our usual Kopitiam. What is so unique about Kopi Tech is that it is decorated with bright LED lights and fanciful colour combinations. Kopi Tech adopts a new concept which allows diners to order at 17 self-service kiosks or through Facebook Messenger. Moreover, there are many forms of cashless payments, ranging from debit cards to cryptocurrency. You will even get discounts if you use e-payments instead of cash.

6. Love, Bonito
The third but largest outlet by famous local fashion brand. Love, Bonito has a wide array of fashionable clothing, suitable for young and working adults. The store has plenty of mirrors in the shop, arranged at different angles. For those who love taking selfies or #OOTD photos for your Instagram, try out their clothes there and take a couple of shots. Moreover, there are adjoining fitting rooms for friends to try out their outfits with. There are also two huge VIP rooms that are able to fit a wheelchair or a pram, catering to some shoppers’ needs.
Tying in with Funan’s tech-savvy theme, there are many Instagrammable features to enhance shoppers’ experience. For example, shoppers can try out different outfits with different Facebook filters. Moreover, what makes this outlet so special is that it has an LB Concierge which offers alteration services and package pickups, coupled with a stylist-on-demand service. Be sure to visit this store when you are there.

New Paradigm for Live-Work-Play
With two towers of office buildings, over hundreds of retail and F&B shops, a few entertainment centres such as Golden Village and the Wild Rice and activities such as indoor cycling and rockclimbing, the revamped Funan Mall is a new paradigm for live-work-play. Living up to its reputation, all the shops are technologically advanced and well-equipped. That said, the rental fees of these shops are higher as compared to the past.
