Sweet bliss—that feeling you get when you wake up on a Sunday morning knowing that you have absolutely nothing to do that day except stuff your face with fine food from around the world. Brunch is serious business in Singapore, and the city is home to some of the most decadent, mouthwatering Sunday spreads in all of Southeast Asia.
As you know, our friends at UrbanJourney love to share their top spots in the city that we agree you just have to check out, so they’ve put together a list of the most lavish brunch spots to get your weekend feed on.
Think tables piled high with freshly baked pastries, imported meats and cheeses, succulent seafood and free-flowing wine and champagne. Trust us, you won’t find a better reason to get out of bed on a Sunday than these incredible spreads that are the stuff of foodie’s dreams.
1. Artichoke
The Singapore foodie scene is such a melting pot of cultures that it would be a shame to stick to the usual eggs and bacon brunches time and time again. For something different check out Artichoke where the dishes are a mix of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean fare. We love the Haloumi & Mushrooms and the Ful fava bean stew, plus the garden setting is a world away from the urban grind. This place can get full on weekends, so reservations are recommended.
