What are CDC Vouchers?
CDC vouchers in Singapore are government-issued vouchers intended to help Singaporean households with their daily expenses. Including the $500 CDC Vouchers the Government disbursed in January 2024, all Singaporean households have received a total of $800 CDC Vouchers in 2024 and will receive $300 CDC Vouchers in January 2025.

A significant boost to the CDC voucher scheme will provide S$800 in vouchers to every household. The disbursement will be staggered, with the first S$500 arriving in May 2025 and the remaining S$300 in January 2026.
Beyond CDC vouchers, the budget also includes substantial support through U-Save rebates. Eligible HDB households can now receive up to S$760 in U-Save rebates throughout this financial year, helping to offset utility costs.
Families with children will also receive additional support. Singaporean children aged 12 and below will now receive S$500 in LifeSG credits in 2025. For older children and young adults, aged 13 to 20, there will be a S$500 top-up to their Edusave or Post-Secondary Education accounts in 2025.
The budget also addresses the needs of lower-income individuals and families. ComCare Assistance schemes will see increased rates, providing greater financial support. Furthermore, the Singapore Allowance will rise from S$350 to S$390 per month, and the monthly pension ceiling will also be increased to S$1,320. Eligibility for CDC vouchers in 2025 is pretty straightforward.
These vouchers are distributed to Singaporean households, not individual citizens. This means that every household with at least one Singapore Citizen qualifies, regardless of income level. However, households made up entirely of Permanent Residents (PRs) or foreigners are not eligible for the scheme.
Typically, one household member will claim the vouchers online using their Singpass on behalf of everyone in the household. There’s no need to apply for the CDC vouchers separately.

Claiming your CDC vouchers for 2025 is simple and can be done online.
To start, visit go.gov.sg/cdcv and log in using your SingPass. Only one member needs to claim the vouchers for the entire household. Once claimed, you’ll receive a voucher link via SMS. Ensure that the SMS is from “gov.sg”. The voucher link should start with https://voucher.redeem.gov.sg.
CDCs or RedeemSG will not ask for personal information or banking details via SMS. If you receive a suspicious link, contact PA at 62255322 or report it online. You can also call 1800 255 0000 to make a police report. Hotline operating hours are Monday to Sunday from 8 am to 6 pm, with shorter hours on New Year’s Eve, Chinese New Year’s Eve, and Christmas Eve. The hotline is closed on public holidays.
Where to use CDC Vouchers in 2025?
In 2025, CDC vouchers can be used at participating hawker centres, heartland merchants, and supermarkets. About 23,000 local businesses will accept these vouchers, including food and beverage stalls, bakeries, wet market stalls, supermarkets, provision shops, hair salons, pet shops, optical shops, photo shops, electronic shops, clinics, medical halls, and florists.
Finding participating locations is easy. The CDCVouchersGoWhere Tool allows you to search for participating businesses by name, street, postal code, or category. Visit vouchers.cdc.gov.sg to access this tool. Participating stores will also display a decal indicating they accept CDC vouchers. Teal decals are for participating hawker centres and heartland merchants, while yellow decals are for participating supermarkets.
When you’re ready to use the voucher, choose which of the vouchers you want to use and decide the amount to spend. Then, present the QR code to the participating merchant, who will scan it to complete your payment.
There is no limit to the number of vouchers you can spend per purchase. However, you can stack a maximum of 15 digital vouchers per QR code to ensure it remains scannable. Note that these vouchers are not valid for purchasing lottery products, petrol, diesel, alcohol, or cigarettes.
