The British government has put more land up for sale around its Singapore High Commissioner’s residence in Nassim Road up for sale, after selling off a portion in 2001.
Buyers with deep pockets can now live near the British High Commissioner in Singapore.
The British government has recently carved out two freehold plots of the Eden Hall site around its High Commissioner’s residence, The Straits Times reported. It had sold off a portion in 2001.
Plot A, which is around 18,620 square feet and comes with about 36 metres of Nassim Road frontage, has an indicative price of $40.964 million, or $2,200 per square foot.
The guide price for Plot B, which is about 15,634 square feet and has a frontage of 8 metres in Nassim Road, is $31.268 million or $2,000 per square foot.
Eden Hall itself, a conservation bungalow, will remain the residence of Britain’s High Commissioner in Singapore.
“Nassim’s tree-lined boulevards… on ample ground offer owners total privacy, right in the heart of town,” said CBRE associate director of investment properties Sammi Lim. The properties are being offered on a vacant site basis.
