What to expect in Tampines North
While Tampines North has been known as an industrial hub for many years, it is set to undergo rapid developments that will bring exciting changes to Tampines. Accounting for a fifth of Tampines, its expansion will welcome over 20,000 residents by 2025. Plans for new amenities to cater to the incoming population of people are already underway, with a hawker centre, polyclinic, and community club in the works. In particular, this mixed-use development is set to be one of the landmark projects for the entire estate.
Nature lovers can also look forward to two new parks in Tampines North, Boulevard Park and Quarry Park, which will complement existing parks such as Tampines Eco Green and Tampines Central Park. Adding these new parks will enhance the town’s greenery and provide more options for nature lovers residing in the new Parktown Residences.
