Developed along Bukit Batok Avenue 1, SkyLine II is an HDB project that was designed as a gateway into the Bukit Batok town. The closest train station to this HDB development is the Bukit Batok MRT station which is on the North South Line. It is 1 kilometre away from the HDB and is about a 12-minute walk. One stop away from the Bukit Batok MRT station is the Jurong East MRT station which is the interchange to the East West Line. However, in the near future, this interchange will also give access to the Jurong Region Line.
Right at the edge of this project is the bus stop at Block 298 which grants residents access to the rest of Bukit Batok as well as the north and western areas of the region. Residents who drive will be able to reach both Orchard and the CBD in about 24 minutes through the Pan Island Expressway (PIE).
Nearby Amenities
SkyLine II was built around the concept of ‘housing within a garden’ as the development serves as an extension to a park connector with a central green spine running across the project area. Like other modern HDBs it comes with its selection of facilities. For active recreation, there are playgrounds for children and designated fitness facilities for both adults and the elderly. There is also a Residents’ Committee Centre which gives a space for residents to mingle.
Around the project is a small food court, minimart, and a childcare centre. Fitness enthusiasts will be able to enjoy the Bukit Batok ActiveSG gym right beside the HDB as well as an F45 gym a little further down the road. For shopping and dining needs, the Bukit Batok West Shopping Centre is just an 8-minute walk away from SkyLine II.
