Condo Focus: Parc Clematis

Parc Clematis, developed by SingHaiyi Group, is one of the largest condominium developments in the West of Singapore with 1,468 units spanning 58,867 square metres. The District 5 project consists of nine 24-storey tower blocks, as well as 18 strata landed homes from terraces to bungalows.

Located along Jalan Lempeng bordering a landed residential estate, Parc Clematis is a 99-year leasehold development with expected completion in 2023.

Facilities

More than 80% of the land area within Parc Clematis is dedicated towards communal facilities, which are spread across three zones. Pools feature prominently, with a massive beach pool that measures roughly 80 by 30 metres, three 50 metre lap pools, and several smaller pools.

The clubhouse at Parc Clematis will feature ample facilities for a development of this size, such as a communal kitchen with multiple ovens that residents can book and use. There’s also a gym, dance studio, a multipurpose games room and multipurpose entertainment room.

Across the development, residents will find that there are three playgrounds for children, and one specifically for pets. Parc Clematis is one of the rare few new developments to include two tennis courts, instead of one or none.

Notably, there is a second vehicular entrance to the development for residents only, whereas most other condos only offer a single entry point for cars.

Surrounding Amenities

Foremost in buyers’ minds will be the development’s walking-distance proximity to Clementi MRT station (about five minutes) and also the accessibility to both Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) and Pan Island Expressway (PIE) for motorists.

For shopping and daily necessities, residents will find that they have everything they need in and around Clementi Central, including at Clementi Mall and the market and hawker centre at Block 448, Clementi Aveune 3.

Only slightly further afield is the up-and-coming regional business district at Jurong East—part of the larger Jurong Lake District project. The area already offers up a collection of malls such as Westgate, JEM and IMM, as well as being home to the Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

Located along the Ulu Pandan river, the Ulu Pandan Park Connector is easily accessible by residents seeking recreation and nature. The Park Connector connects to the Rail Corridor, which gives cyclists a lot of commuting options on two wheels, be it a ride to Holland Village, Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, or towards the city.

For families with young children, Parc Clematis is also situated within a two-minute walk to the well-regarded Nan Hua Primary School. Other primary schools within one kilometre include Clementi Primary School, Pei Tong Primary School and Qifa Primary School.

For the Japanese community, the Japanese Kindergarten and The Japanese Secondary School is also nearby, along West Coast Road.

Unit types

Parc Clematis offers units ranging from one- to five-bedroom apartments, with five-bedroom penthouses. Strata landed housing within the development includes eight terraces, four corner terraces and six bungalows.
