Walk through the rainforest

Rainforest Wild Asia features a multi-layered rainforest environment, designed to offer visitors an immersive experience from the forest floor to the canopy. The park spans 13 hectares and is divided into eight distinct zones, each showcasing various ecosystems and species native to Southeast Asia.

The park boasts various zones, and visitors can select paths of varying difficulty to explore. Visitors can explore the rainforest at their own pace, choosing from easy strolls along wide walkways to more challenging forest treks that require crossing boulders, logs, and streams.
For those looking for an extra dose of adventure, there are exhilarating experiences such as climbing metal rungs, crossing suspended bridges, and even abseiling down into cool, dark caves.
A new home for Asia’s endangered wildlife

Rainforest Wild Asia is home to 36 species, including Malayan tigers, Javan langurs, and the endangered Francois’ langur. The park aims to raise awareness about the region’s endangered species and their habitats through engaging exhibits and conservation-focused initiatives.
Some of the park’s notable highlights include:
- The Karsts: This jagged limestone formation is home to the elusive Francois’ langurs, known for their acrobatic leaping through the trees.
- The Watering Hole: The largest zone in the park, where visitors can spot Malayan tapirs and sun bears foraging among the forest.
- The Cavern: Inspired by the UNESCO-listed Mulu Caves in Malaysia, this zone invites visitors to explore cool, dark chambers and rock formations while observing cave-dwelling species like the Malayan cave racer and Madagascar hissing cockroaches.
The design of the park allows visitors to encounter animals in their natural habitats, including moments when they may even find themselves walking alongside Malayan tigers as the animals move through their designated areas.
For the adventurous at heart

For those seeking a more adrenaline-fueled experience, Rainforest Wild Asia doesn’t disappoint. You can purchase additional add-on experiences such as the Canopy Jump (a free-fall simulation from a 13m or 20m platform), the AIA Vitality Bounce (a series of bouncy zones suspended high above the ground), or the Critter Crawl, where participants crawl through a 60m cave tunnel while surrounded by live insects and creatures.
Additionally, there are two guided three-hour adventure tours available for an extra fee. The Wild Apex Adventure takes participants through the Karst and Canopy habitats, climbing suspended bridges and ladders, while the Wild Cavern Adventure offers an exciting journey through the dark caverns, where adventurers can abseil and explore tight spaces.
🌴 Did you know?
One of the core objectives of Rainforest Wild Asia is to raise awareness about the conservation of Southeast Asia’s unique biodiversity.
In addition to providing a sanctuary for these species, Rainforest Wild Asia also plays a key role in reforesting and restoring the natural landscape. The park has 7,000 Southeast Asian trees and shrubs planted to supplement existing patches of protected rainforest. Over 320 mature trees from the original secondary forest plot were preserved, allowing for the creation of diverse habitats that mimic natural environments.
The Mandai Reserve also receives animals from over 160 internationally managed species programmes to ensure the continued survival of these threatened species. Notably, species such as the Francois’ langur are part of these efforts, ensuring that rare animals receive the attention they need for successful breeding and protection.
Dining options for a complete experience

After exploring the park’s captivating exhibits and enjoying heart-racing activities, visitors can relax and refuel at one of Rainforest Wild Asia’s dining outlets. The park boasts four food and beverage options. This includes Singapore’s first restaurant set inside a cave—a truly unique setting for a meal. For those seeking local flavours, the park also features a food hall with a variety of Southeast Asian cuisine.
