Tengah flat progress: Nearly half the town ready soon
Tengah’s housing development has been moving steadily. So far, close to 12,000 HDB flats in the Tengah new town have already been completed. This makes up around 40% of the 30,000 flats that have been launched in the Tengah housing estate.
By the end of 2025, you can expect almost 50% of all planned flats to be ready. That means Tengah is reaching its halfway mark, and it’s doing so at a pace that’s offering more housing options in a region that’s quickly becoming more liveable and connected.
A town built around you: Community-led planning in Tengah
One thing that sets Tengah apart is its people-first approach. Planning for Tengah HDB flats didn’t start in isolation – it involved the community right from the beginning.
Since 2019, over 6,500 home buyers from 22 precincts have taken part in HDB’s Tengah Sensing surveys. And that’s not all – more than 13,000 residents have contributed feedback to help shape Tengah’s future.
Because of your input, practical features like sheltered linkways and cycling paths were added to the town’s design. These are now built into transport routes, making it safer and easier for everyone to get around. It’s a clear sign that Tengah’s community-led town planning is more than just a slogan – it’s being put into action.
Tengah’s amenities and infrastructure are taking shape
Living in Tengah isn’t just about new flats – it’s also about having the right amenities nearby. And the Tengah town flats and infrastructure are coming along well.
Let’s start with Plantation Plaza, Tengah’s first neighbourhood centre. Right now, 69 out of its 75 shops are already up and running. You’ll see more variety by the end of Q3 2025, as the remaining 6 shops are expected to open by then.
Then there’s Parc Point, the second neighbourhood centre. This hub is set to open in Q1 2026 and will bring even more convenience. It will feature a brand-new polyclinic, over 40 dining and retail outlets, and will be located just steps away from the future Tengah Bus Interchange.
Whether it’s access to healthcare, food, or daily essentials, Tengah new flats and amenities are designed to support your everyday needs.
Bus routes and transport in Tengah are expanding
As Tengah’s housing estate continues to grow, so does its transport network. By the end of 2026, eight new bus services will be rolled out across Tengah and Brickland.

Two of these new services will begin by the end of 2025, helping residents get around more easily even before all the flats are complete.
One of them, Bus Service 872, is launching in August 2025. This route will offer direct access to the East-West Line via Chinese Garden MRT, giving you better public transport options right from Tengah.
This Tengah bus route and transport update is great news for those relying on public transport, especially if you’re moving in soon.
Wrapping up
With Tengah flat completion by end 2025 expected to hit the 3,000 mark, and more flats, amenities, and transport options on the way, Tengah’s status as a future-ready estate is coming to life – one step at a time.
