Matilda Court is an HDB development along Sumang Lane and is part of the family of Matilda projects in Punggol along with Matilda Edge & Matilda Portico. The closest train station is the Soo Teck LRT station, which is about a 9-minute walk away. One stop away from Soo Teck station is the Punggol MRT interchange, which connects to the North East Line. Meanwhile, the nearest bus stop is After Sumang Lane and is just at the fringes of this HDB complex.
Park connectors near this project allow residents to access the Punggol Waterway Park. The park spans approximately 4.2 kilometres and is full of green spaces, cycling paths, play equipment, and resting paths. In essence, it was designed to allow residents of the Punggol area to enjoy large greenery along the scenic water frontage.
For residents that drive, the Tampines Expressway (TPE) is right next to the car park block, making it easy for residents to access the Central Area as well as other parts of Singapore. In this case, Orchard is about 19 minutes away and Changi Airport is about 15 minutes away. Residents without cars but can drive will still be able to enjoy these conveniences as there is a dedicated Blue SG parking lot on the 1st floor of the car park.

Following the vision of establishing Punggol as an eco-town, Matilda Court was planned with environmentally-friendly features in mind. These include a separate chute for recyclable waste, a rainwater harvesting system to collect rainwater, and an ABC water feature to clean the rainwater and beautify the overall landscape.
Motion-sensor lights are installed in common areas to help reduce energy consumption when not in use. Eco pedestals are also installed in each of the homes. These are small sinks on top of the toilet flush tank that allow you to wash your hands and have that water be used to flush down the toilet as well.

On top of its strategic location near Punggol Waterway, Matilda Court was developed with the idea of living amidst large greenery in mind. This is evident from the landscaping around the development and the roof garden above the 7-storey car park.
Within the development is Cycling at Punggol, which allows residents to easily rent bikes. For groceries, there is a 24-hour Sheng Siong Supermarket so residents can stock up on daily necessities. For more options, there is also a U-Stars Supermarket at Matilda Portico, just a 6-minute walk away.
On the way to the LRT station, there is a 24-hour Glamoria for vitamins & supplements. And across the train station is a 7-Eleven. One stop away from the Soo Teck LRT, residents can access the integrated community hub, One Punggol, that is set to open by mid-2022. Parks Near Matilda Court
From Matilda Court, you can either take the LRT from Soo Teck down to Riviera or drive for about 8-minutes. Right outside Riviera station is a 2-storey driving range. From there, you will easily be able to spot the Punggol Container Park - a hipster enclave home to many bars and restaurants. It offers scenic views during the day and transforms into a bustling spot by night.
Further in the Container Park, you can spot the fishing site where you can try to catch your own fresh seafood to later feast on. There are also recreational facilities here such as a billiards arena and an archery range. Other fun activities to enjoy in this park are going for a ride on the Uncle Ringo Carnival and exploring the dinosaur park.
Another go-to park for the residents on the weekends is Coney Island. Here you will find a wide variety of habitats, including coastal forests, grasslands, mangroves, and casuarina woodlands. The park also houses 80 species of birds as well as endangered species of flora and fauna. As such, Coney Island is a great place to go birdwatching, cycling, and exploring the Nature Playgarden with your kids.
