When this library was still in the planning phase, avid readers would head to Our Punggol West Container Library. It is a temporary library built from 2 containers that came up as a result of many families in the area requesting for a public space to read while there was still no full-fledged public library yet. The library has over 3000 children’s and teenagers’ books, is air-conditioned, comes equipped with children’s tables & chairs, and has a reading corner in one of the containers for group reading.
