Accessibility

Waterway Sunray is situated in the north-eastern part of Punggol and is beside the scenic Punggol Waterway. It is also easy to maintain an active lifestyle here as developments like the Punggol Regional Sports Centre and the Outward Bound campus on Coney Island are easily accessible the LRT and park connectors. In terms of lifestyle-based developments, residents can easily access Punggol Central, which is just 3 bus stops plus a short walk away. The up-and-coming integrated community hub, One Punggol, can easily be accessed via the LRT, and likewise, a short walk.  

The nearest train station to Waterway Sunray is Kadaloor which is just a quick 15-minute walk and gives residents access to the Punggol Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line. Residents can access other parts of Singapore via the North East line by taking the train from Kadaloor to Punggol, just 3 stops away. Kadaloor station also serves as the nearest bus stop residents can walk to to get access to the other parts of Punggol.

Residents can easily get their daily necessities from the HAO Mart right along this HDB complex. For quick eats, there is a hawker centre and even an ice cream shop nearby. Cycling fans will surely enjoy living here as they’ll be right next to a BuyCycle shop.   

One up-and-coming landmark, One Punggol, set to open by mid-2022, can easily be accessed via the LRT or by bus. Similar to other well-known integrated community hubs such as Our Tampines Hub and Heartbeat @ Bedok, One Punggol covers 2.8 hectares of land - which is the size of about 4 football fields. This one-stop hub will be ready to serve up to 200,000 residents and will feature a number of facilities from a public library, 

to a 700-seater hawker centre, to child and senior care centres.

Soon to be open to the public in mid-2022 is the 5-storey library at One Punggol. It will be Singapore’s first fully-inclusive library to feature inclusive spaces, technology, programmes, and special collections for all patrons, including persons with disabilities 

When this library was still in the planning phase, avid readers would head to Our Punggol West Container Library. It is a temporary library built from 2 containers that came up as a result of many families in the area requesting for a public space to read while there was still no full-fledged public library yet. The library has over 3000 children’s and teenagers’ books, is air-conditioned, comes equipped with children’s tables & chairs, and has a reading corner in one of the containers for group reading.
