Waterway View is situated in the north-eastern part of Punggol and is right beside the scenic Punggol Waterway, as its name suggests. This HDB is near a number of ongoing developments like the Punggol Digital District, slated to be completed by 2023. By foot, residents can easily access Punggol Central, which is just a 15-minute bus ride away. While the integrated community hub, One Punggol can easily be accessed via the LRT plus a short walk.  

The nearest train station to Waterway View is Kadaloor and is just a quick 7-minute walk. Kadaloor station serves as both a bus stop and gives residents access to the Punggol Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line. Residents can access other parts of Singapore via the North East line by taking the train from Kadaloor to Punggol, which is just 3 stops away.

Residents can easily get their daily necessities from the Sheng Siong Supermarket just across the road, along Edgedale Plains. Residents also have easy access to Punggol Drive with amenities on either side of the road. These include: Fortune Supermarket, Singapore Post, NH Mart Convenience Centre, and Punggol Family Service Centre.  

The integrated community hub One Punggol, set to open by mid-2022, can easily be accessed via the LRT or by bus. This one-stop hub will feature a number of facilities from a public library, to a 700-seater hawker centre, to child and senior care centres.

The Oasis Terraces mall is just a 7-minute walk away from Waterway View to satisfy your shopping needs. Along with the mall is a community plaza and rooftop community garden that are actually part of an HDB complex meant to serve as the neighbourhood centre for residents of the area. The mall includes dedicated walkways that connect to the Punggol Waterway, the Oasis LRT station, as well as the residential blocks around the vicinity. 

The mall itself consists of 5 storeys. At the basement, you’ll easily find NTUC FairPrice as the anchor tenant of the floor. Hospitals Near Waterway View

Residents of this HDB have a number of small medical and family clinics to visit. While most of these clinics are closed by night time, both the Sengkang Community Hospital and the Sengkang General hospital are open 24 hours a day to address any emergency situation. By mid-2022, the public 5-storey library at One Punggol will be open for all to enjoy. It will be Singapore’s first fully-inclusive library to feature inclusive spaces, technology, programmes, and special collections for all patrons, including persons with disabilities 

Avid library-goers anticipating the monumental library at One Punggol can head to Our Punggol West Container Library in the meantime. It is a temporary library built from 2 containers, with over 3000 books on hand, mostly for children and teenagers. This temporary library came up as a result of many families in the area requesting a public space to read while the full-fledged public library was still under construction. It is air-conditioned, comes equipped with children’s tables & chairs, and has a reading corner in one of the containers for group reading where parents like to bond with their children.
