Landed Properties For Under $2 Million (Q1 2019)

4 min readby Add as preferred on Google

Some people like staying in a condo, where you get access to a huge range of amenities, and you can hit the gym or take a dip in the pool whenever you’d like.

Then there are those people who absolutely abhor living in high-density housing, and would rather stay in a landed property where they have their own front porch, backyard, and more space to breathe.

If you belong to the latter category, you’re in the right place. In this blog post, we share 5 landed properties that you can purchase for under $2 million in Singapore. Read on to find out more!

#1: Summer Gardens

District: D16

Nearest MRT: Tanah Merah, Expo

Size: 3,025 sq ft (five beds, five baths)

Sale price: $2,000,000

PSF sale price: $661.16

Need plenty of space? You’ll have no complaints with this unit at Summer Gardens, which comes with five bedrooms spread out over three storeys, plus an additional helper’s room, powder room, and communal area in the basement.

Another plus point: the house is newly renovated and super stylish, which means you won’t need to spend much on replacing the fittings or furnishings. Also, it’s rare that you find landed property nearby public transport, but Summer Gardens is an exception – it’s within walking distance of Tanah Merah MRT.

#2: Ceylon Court

District: D15

Nearest MRT: Dakota

Size: 13,085 sq ft (four beds, three baths)

Sale price: $1,900,000

PSF sale price: $145.20

This three storey townhouse at Ceylon Court is located at Ceylon Road, and it comes with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The property is a 10 to 15 minute walk or a five minute drive away from malls such as Parkway Parade, Roxy Square, and 112 Katong, and other amenities in the area include the Chinese Swimming Club and East Coast Park.

If you’re a foodie, take a short stroll to East Coast Road, where you’ll find a smorgasbord of good food, including 328 Katong Laksa, Birds of Paradise, Ninethirty by Awfully Chocolate, and Brotzeit Katong.

#3: Goodlink Park

District: D27

Nearest MRT: Yishun

Size: 2,078 sq ft (five beds, four baths)

Sale price: $1,500,000

PSF sale price: $721.85

Goodlink Park isn’t located in the most central part of Yishun (it’s actually on Sembawang Road, near Khatib camp), but on the bright side, the property is just five minutes away from the legendary Chong Pang Nasi Lemak.

Also important to note: Goodlink Park is a freehold property, not leasehold, so we’d say that the asking price of $1,500,000 works out to be a pretty good deal.

#4: Straits Gardens

District: D27

Nearest MRT: Sembawang

Size: 1,694 sq ft (five beds, five baths)

Sale price: $2,000,000

PSF sale price: $1,180.64

Like Goodlink Park, Straits Gardens is located in the North of Singapore. This 4.5 storey house comes with a basement and a covered roof terrace, and it’s the ultimate home for couples who love to entertain and have their friends over. If you’ve got elderly parents living with you, they’ll also appreciate the fact that there’s a private lift installed in the house.
