OrangeTee & Tie (OTT) is expanding its Agent App with new home cleaning services. In partnership with Helpling, OTT agents can now book house keepers to clean a show flat before viewings.
A tidy apartment makes all the difference in closing a deal; it can raise the appeal for potential new buyers or tenants. With Helpling on OTT’s Agent App, agents can also refer their clients to the German-based home service provider.
Through this partnership, OTT will provide its agents “with a seamless experience of booking home-cleaning services for their clients“. Plus, it also adds “high value and impeccable customer-centric services” to their clients.
A rising need for interim housekeeping
OTT notes that the size of new homes are decreasing, and the demand for stay-in domestic helpers are falling. This often leaves property agents in a bind: large properties cannot be easily tidied up by busy agents, and readied for viewings on time.
Helpling, which provides cleaning services via online requests, provides a quick interim solution. Agents can call for a thorough cleaning of a property they’re about to show, even on short notice. It’s also a helpful move for sellers of the house, who may not have the means to clean it satisfactorily (e.g. a mobility-impaired, elderly couple living in a large semi-detached house).

Last month, OTT announced its partnership with TADA, a ride-hailing app for agents to book a ride for themselves or their clients. OTT is also preparing to roll out News Feed for instant property updates, as well as Auto Website for their personal websites. Read more on that here!
