Being situated in a quiet neighbourhood, Natura Loft still offers the best connectivity for public transportation. An approximately 10-minute walk (or a quick bus ride) will bring you to Bishan MRT Station. It is an underground interchange station along the North-South Line (NSL) and Circle Line (CCL). 

The North-East Line (NEL) is accessible at Serangoon MRT, just two stations away from Bishan. Meanwhile, two stops in the opposite direction is Caldecott MRT Station, where you can access the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL). Besides the MRT lines, bus services are offered from Bishan Bus Interchange, connecting residents to other parts of the estate.

Drivers would also find it convenient to have several expressways and major roads nearby. From Natura Loft, it only takes approximately 15 minutes to get to Orchard Shopping District and 19 minutes to the CBD via the Central Expressway (CTE).

Though it is non-air conditioned, the mall has many shops, and it really serves the same purpose as a regular shopping mall – with lower prices, of course! Besides just a mall, Bishan North Shopping Mall also features a wet market and a hawker centre. 

If you wouldn’t mind going further, there’s Junction 8 located in Bishan Town Centre. It is a one-stop shopping, dining, and entertainment destination comprising 5 retail floors. The key tenants here include FairPrice Finest, BHG Department Store, Best Denki, Food Junction and Golden Village. Do however check the mall’s respective website to get the latest update of the stores.

When you would like to have a hearty meal, head to the nearby hawker centre Teck Ghee Court! Teck Ghee Court Market & Food Centre is located opposite Bishan Park, and it is home to over 30 cooked food stalls. Do try the popular pig trotters from Yong Ji Bak Kut Teh! It is one of the most popular dishes there. 

Other than Teck Ghee Court, there are several other hawker centres nearby. One of them is 409 AMK Market & Food Centre where you can find multiple fish soup stalls, Teochew porridge, and the ever-popular Eng Ho Hokkien Mee.

Nature lovers would not miss the opportunity to walk a 250-metre aerial free-standing suspension bridge spanning the two highest points within MacRitchie. It is the Treetop Walks! Fill yourself with excitement and tranquillity, walking above the lush green foliage while taking a glimpse of wildlife in their natural habitat. 

You can walk on the 11-kilometre MacRitchie Trails to get closer to the wilderness. Located within the tropical rainforest of Central Catchment Nature Reserve, you will likely bump into monitor lizards, long-tailed macaque monkeys, squirrels, and flying lemurs too.

When you simply want to get outside to do some outdoor activities, Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park can be a great place to go. It is among the largest urban parks in Central Singapore, featuring unique waterways with lush greenery.
