Parc Canberra EC: 300m from Canberra MRT

4 min readby Add as preferred on Google

Hoi Hup Sunway makes paradise-living a reality by offering an Aussie-inspired home a stone’s throw from Canberra MRT.

With the perfect hybrid property, it’s possible to have your cake and eat it, too. Executive condominiums (ECs) have long been said to encompass the best of both worlds, combining the merits of both public and private housing. Not only do owners receive a family grant of up to S$30,000 (subject to eligibility conditions), an EC allows them to enjoy private condominium amenities such as swimming pools, gyms, playgrounds and clubhouses within a secure and gated compound, too.

Another plus point? ECs come furnished to the nines, and are often designed as artfully as private condominiums. Well-known real estate developers Hoi Hup Sunway designed the new Parc Canberra with an Aussie-inspired paradise in mind. The Instagram-worthy development — which comprises 10 blocks and 496 residential units — combines a coastal interior style with luxurious modern elements. Units are fitted with Hansgrohe sanitary fittings, Bosch kitchen appliances and Yale biometric locksets.

AN AUSTRALIAN LIFESTYLE

The Aussie-style environment was inspired by the Canberra estate, which was named after the Australian allied soldiers who settled here during the British rule. Outdoorsy and laidback, it culminates in the heart of Parc Canberra, where its main clubhouse, The Barn, sits. The pitched roof, black frames and brick wall are reminiscent of cafes you see in Melbourne. Here, there is a function room ideal for family gatherings and parties, a kids’ party room, a media room and a study room.

The EC’s landscape features are also inspired by Australians’ love for the outdoors and family activities. Various open decks invite homeowners to soak up the sun and while away their afternoons. And, for a dip in crystalline water, there are four pools within Parc Canberra to choose from – spa, family, kids and 50m lap pool. When they’re done, they can have an al fresco teppanyaki dinner which overlooks the pool area.

This attention to outdoor living is also the reason for the unique kitchen layout of Parc Canberra’s D2 units. With a kitchen that opens to a spacious balcony, al-fresco dining or even outdoor play for the kids can be part of the resident’s daily life.

Residents need not worry about the heat, either. All 10 blocks face a north-south orientation to avoid the west sun, leaving homes cool and serene.

Those lucky enough to snag the penthouse units have high ceilings within their living and dining areas. This loftiness is matched by spacious rooms; all master bedrooms can fit a king-sized bed.

And what is a cafe-inspired environment without coffee? Each unit will be provided with a Nespresso coffee machine, so residents can enjoy a good cuppa anytime they want.

Enjoy breezy moments in the spacious living and dining areas.

WELL-CONNECTED TO THE CITY

Parc Canberra touts superb connectivity. The Canberra MRT station – located on the North South line – is a mere five-minute walk from the EC and provides you islandwide connection. It is only five stops to the Bishan interchange and will take you to Marina Bay in just 30 minutes.

There’s also a side gate along Canberra Link for easy access to the bus stop.

For drivers, fret not. Parc Canberra is a four-minute drive to Gambas Avenue, which is connected to the upcoming North-South Corridor. It will be linked to the Seletar Expressway (SLE), the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) and East Coast Parkway (ECP), easing your drive to the city.

The mature estate of Sembawang itself is a well-planned area for families. Schools for all ages, from infant care to secondary schools, as well as neighbourhood malls like Canberra Plaza, Northpoint City, and Sun Plaza, are located in the vicinity.

Furthermore, the upcoming Bukit Canberra is right across the road. This future sports and integrated hub features the largest ActiveSG gym, a hawker centre, polyclinic and senior care centre, and also a community garden.

Alternatively, Sembawang Park — one of the few beach-fronted parks in the vicinity — is also nearby.

Parc Canberra is scheduled to launch in Jan/Feb 2020. For enquiries, call 6311 9555 or visit parccanberra.com.sg.
