Queenstown Secondary School was established in 1956 as Queensway Secondary Technical School. It adopted its present name in 1993. It's school crest consists of a shield with a book symbolizing learning and knowledge and a wheel representing the technical aspect of the school. The school motto is "Berani Berkhidmat" which means “Dare to Serve”.

Bukit Merah Secondary School was established in 1968 along Lengkok Bahru. It has been a value - added school since 1993, offering Express, Normal Academic and Normal Technical streams. In 2004 Delta Secondary School was merged with the school and in 2017 the school absorbed Henderson Secondary School.
