Former Golden Mile Complex
Located at 5001 Beach Rd in District 7, the Golden Mile Complex was one of Singapore's first high-rise, mixed-use developments. The iconic 16-story building, completed in 1973, was purchased for S$700 million by a consortium comprising of Perennial Holdings, Sino Land, and Far East Organisation. As part of the redevelopment, the consortium plans to construct 718 units while cautiously preserving the building's historical aspects. The 99-year lease new launch condo will be slated to launch by 2023.
