What is the Singapore Visitor Centre?

The Singapore Visitor Centre (SVC) is a convenient and informative hub for tourists exploring the country.

Staff members at the SVC provide assistance with various tasks, including reserving accommodations, purchasing tickets for attractions and entertainment, and offering resources such as maps, brochures, and directions.

The centre offers services to help visitors craft personalised itineraries and discover popular tourist destinations in Singapore, going above and beyond to cater to their needs.

What features does the Singapore Visitor Centre have?

The SVC offers a range of convenient features for visitors to enhance their travel experience. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available, along with cutting-edge technology services to assist in itinerary planning.

Within the visitor centres, information kiosks are accessible, allowing visitors to browse numerous places to visit and create a personalised travel plan. Additionally, two large screens showcase various events and places of interest in the city, providing valuable insights.

Moreover, the centres also house small retail areas where visitors can explore and shop for distinctive souvenirs and locally made keepsakes.

How many branches does the Singapore Visitor Centre have?

The Singapore Visitor Centre operates multiple branches to cater to the needs of tourists and travellers. The main branch is situated in the Emerald Hill area of Orchard Road, housed in a two-story Peranakan shophouse. This branch offers comprehensive services and information to visitors.

The second floor of the shophouse is utilised as an event space, where interactive activities centred around Singaporean or Peranakan culture are hosted. These engaging events occur every month, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the local culture and have an enjoyable experience.

In addition to the main branch, there are three other branches of the Singapore Visitor Centre. These branches are conveniently located on Level 1 of ION Orchard, in Chinatown, and in Kampong Glam. These branches extend the reach of the SVC, making it more accessible to visitors in different areas of Singapore.
