What is Jurong Point?

Jurong Point, a suburban shopping mall in Jurong West, Singapore, is a bustling destination. It is conveniently situated near Boon Lay MRT station and Boon Lay Bus Interchange, home to over 350 stores. 

Since its establishment in December 1995, Jurong Point has experienced two expansions. The first expansion occurred in December 2000, increasing its size to 450,000 square feet. This was followed by another expansion in 2008, which introduced additional retail and food zones to enhance the overall shopping experience.

In 2022, Hong Kong-listed Link Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) acquired Jurong Point from Mercatus Co-operative for S$2.16 billion. With a net lettable area of 720,000 square feet in 2022, Jurong Point is home to many shops, dining options, entertainment venues, and services. 

What is in Jurong Point? 

The suburban shopping mall proudly features well-known anchors like 24-hour FairPrice Xtra, John Little, Courts, Harvey Norman, Popular, Kopitiam, Kiddy Palace, as well as popular eateries such as Din Tai Fung, Putien, Dian Xiao Er, Starbucks, and many more. 

What amenities does Jurong Point have?

The following is the range of amenities visitors can enjoy at Jurong Point:

  • Nursery Room: Convenient nursery rooms located near Kopitiam at JP1 Level 3, opposite Samsung at JP2 B1, and at Mongkok St on Level 3.
  • EV Charging Stations: Four EV charging lots equipped with AC 22kW chargers are available. Find them at JP1 B2 Lots 231 and 232, as well as JP2 B1 Lots 17 and 18 (near Samsung).
  • Free WiFi: Complimentary WiFi services while shopping.
  • Information Counter: Get assistance at the JP2 Level 3 information counter, offering services such as general enquiries, wheelchair loans, lucky draws, and redemptions.   • Gift e-vouchers: Purchase versatile Gift e-Vouchers via the Jurong Point App. These vouchers, available in S$10 and S$50 denominations, can be used at various retail stores in Jurong Point, including Hai Di Lao, Don Don Donki, Harvey Norman, and more. Payment is accepted by credit or debit cards, and the vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance unless otherwise specified.

How to go to Jurong Point? 

To conveniently reach Jurong Point in Singapore, you have multiple transportation options available:

  • Numerous bus routes pass by Jurong Point, providing easy access to the area. These routes include 174, 192, 194, 30, and 79.
  • You can take advantage of the East-West Line of the metro system for a seamless journey.
