It was actually a friend who recommended that I use 99.co. He too, is an expat. As a foreigner, it was a really difficult process the first time I tried to look for a place in Singapore. I knew nothing about the country or the procedures of renting a place here, so everything was a bit of a culture shock. What do you look for in a place to live?
I’m an introvert, so I need a place all for myself that is quiet and private. Public transport is not so much a worry for me since the public transport system in Singapore is really good and most residences are already within walking distance of a MRT station. Right now, I feel blessed to have found my current place. It meets my budget and my needs, and the owners are nice people.
Describe your dream home.
A single-story bungalow surrounded by a huge garden so I can keep dogs. I live for my dogs and I have six of them!
