4 gorgeous SG condo swimming pools you’ll want to cool off in

4 min read

Not all condo swimming pools are made equal. Some are just a rectangle of water, which is good for swimming but not the kind you’d want to show off. These four condo pools, however, are among the best in Singapore for cooling off in style!

Condo #1: South Beach Residences

District: 7
Tenure:
99-year leasehold
Prices from:
$3.2 million onwards for a 936 sq ft, 2-bedroom unit

When it was completed in 2017, South Beach Residences immediately became the trophy asset everybody wanted to own. Occupying the upper 23 storeys in a 43 storey skyscraper in the ultra-prime heritage district of Beach Road, the development promises unblocked views all-round, including an iconic city view looking across the Padang.

This is special, because some would note that the Singapore cityscape was originally designed to be viewed from this very angle. Lo and behold, this is the view from the infinity pool on the 22nd floor:

At 28 metres in length, this isn’t a pool for hardcore lap swimmers. But with this view, all you’d want to do is chill; get a bit of swimming done, then spend the rest of the day lounging with a cocktail with a view you’ll never ever tire of.

Condo #2: OUE Twin Peaks

District: 9
Tenure:
99-year leasehold
Prices from:
$1.35 million onwards for a 549 sq ft, 1-bedroom unit

Inspired by traditional Balinese design, the pools at OUE Twin Peaks are among the most tasteful condo swimming pools we’ve seen. Aside from a 35-metre lap pool, there’s a maze of wading pools and a jacuzzi. All that’s lacking is a waterfall, but that would be asking for too much 😉

The condo is located within walking distance of Somerset and Orchard, and counts renowned local singer-songwriter JJ Lin among its residents.

Condo #3: Sky Habitat

District: 20
Tenure:
99-year leasehold
Prices from:
$1.1 million onwards for a 710 sq ft, 1-bedroom unit

Don’t be too quick to dismiss Sky Habitat as just another condo in Bishan. The architect for this condo, Moshe Safdie, is the very same guy who designed Marina Bay Sands (MBS).

Like MBS, there’s also a stunning rooftop pool at Sky Habitat; at 38-storeys above ground, the infinity pool measures a full Olympic length of 50 metres and sits above two sky gardens. Meanwhile, a line of palm trees adds a lovely tropical resort vibe to the place.

Condo #4. Jardin

District: 21
Tenure:
Freehold
Prices from:
$1.7 million onwards for a 1,098 sq ft, 2-bedroom unit

Perched atop a condo that has won awards for vertical landscaping, this spectacular rooftop infinity pool offers a scenic view of the west of Singapore and towards Bukit Batok Nature Park and Bukit Timah Hill.

We also like that the pool at Jardin is ideal for lap swimmers; it measures 55 to 60 metres in length—longer than an Olympic-sized pool!
